When we first met, I honestly had no idea that you would be so important to me. I will never forget the nights when we were both happy. In you, I have found a companion. And believe me, you have become my best friend. Every time I need someone to talk to, in the midst of all my rants, you are always there to listen. A year has passed since we first met. We've been telling secrets to each other and telling each other stories about the person we both admire.
Thank you for holding my hands and laying your arms across our sleepless nights. After that, things went in a different direction, but it was okay because change is constant. I think we're not on the same page nor on the same path. We're only a few miles apart, but we never crossed paths. But I'm sure I didn't miss the chance to tell you how much you mean to me and how much I appreciated you.
Knowing that I won't have the opportunity to seize every moment again, I made the most of every one because I know that one day I will no longer have the chance to do that. It hurts the most when the person that made me feel so special yesterday makes me feel unwanted today. But I'm happy for you. I will never change. In the end, I will stand with you as an ally. When you need someone, I'll be there.
